Orbuy operates as a neutral online transaction technology and information service provider, offering product display, inquiry communication, online ticketing, order management, transaction evidence preservation, dispute mediation, and technical information services connecting third-party cross-border payment gateways and logistics information interfaces.
Unless the platform lists self-operated products, the platform shall not act directly as the seller or buyer of goods, and assumes no seller or buyer liability for goods production, inspection, warehousing, performance, customs declaration, destination-country customs clearance, or product certification.
All transaction funds are escrowed and cleared by third-party payment institutions connected by the platform. The platform does not directly hold user transaction funds and only records and preserves transaction orders.
The platform may temporarily escrow order-corresponding payments during order performance cycles, dispute handling cycles and risk control verification cycles as a performance guarantee. Such escrow does not mean transfer of fund ownership to the platform. After dispute closure or completion of performance, funds shall be settled according to rulings.
Users shall not engage in the following conduct:
1. Malicious ordering, unjustified non-payment after ordering, or malicious credit card chargebacks.
2. Filing malicious false quality complaints after receipt and forging inspection reports.
3. Bypassing the platform ticket system and directly initiating chargebacks or payment disputes with third-party acquirers without completing internal platform arbitration.
4. Using the platform for money laundering, cashing out, foreign exchange evasion or other illegal activities.
5. Stealing other users' commercial materials, drawings, customer data or design schemes.
Upon verification of breach, the platform may issue written warnings, restrict or freeze accounts, freeze funds, impose penalties, remove products or shops, and recover platform losses including handling fees, chargeback fines, legal fees and notarisation fees, depending on the severity of the violation.
Orbuy provides digital fulfilment infrastructure, including product presentation, order routing, consolidation warehouse management, logistics arrangement, shipment protection registration, order tracking and customer support. It connects buyers with compliant, verified vendors and coordinates end-to-end fulfilment.
Orbuy is not a seller of goods, an actual carrier, an insurance underwriter or a licensed payment institution. Products are supplied by third-party verified vendors; international carriage and customs procedures are performed by qualified third-party logistics providers; shipment protection is underwritten by independent licensed carriers.
Fulfilment-related charges are settled as a dedicated category of service fees in accordance with the platform's published rules.
When registering, you must provide true, complete and up-to-date identity and delivery information to enable reliable order fulfilment. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
This service is intended for individuals aged 18 or over with full legal capacity. Minors may only use it with the consent and supervision of their legal guardian.
Orbuy may perform temporary verification, functional restrictions or account freezes based on security risk detection, with in-platform notice and a restoration process for compliant users. This is not suspicion toward you; it is a necessary safeguard protecting funds and orders for our whole community.
Payments for goods and fulfilment-related charges are processed as distinct categories, each subject to its own settlement rules.
1. Product payment: the price you pay to the vendor for goods, processed as a transaction through connected third-party payment institutions.
2. Fulfilment charges: settled in accordance with the platform's published rules to cover designated fulfilment services, and may not be used to pay for product purchases.
3. Any preliminary estimate shown at checkout is for reference only and does not constitute a binding final charge.
4. Final fulfilment charges are determined by the valid invoice issued by the logistics service provider.
5. Any difference between the preliminary estimate and the final charge shall be processed in accordance with the platform's published rules. All charge records are available in your account history.
1. Submitting an order creates an active transaction link, but it is not irrevocable. You may submit a cancellation request before the item has arrived at the consolidation warehouse and entered the fulfilment queue.
2. After an item has completed warehouse-in inspection, packing or hand-over to a logistics provider, the cross-border fulfilment process has commenced and direct cancellation is no longer available. Should you still request return, return shipping fees, storage charges and any customs-related costs will be borne by you.
3. If the vendor cannot ship due to stock-out, the product payment will be refunded along the original path in accordance with the platform's published rules.
4. All compliant refunds are returned via the original payment path; arrival typically takes 3–15 business days depending on payment channels and card issuers, which are outside our full control.
5. Refund scope is limited to the product payment actually made or the applicable refundable amount for that order. Orbuy does not bear any indirect losses, including expected revenue, time costs or communication and transportation expenses.
While using Orbuy, you undertake to:
1. Comply with all import and export laws of your country, the destination country and transit countries, and not ship prohibited, restricted or infringing items.
2. Truthfully declare recipient information and goods information, and not evade customs supervision by under-declaring value or obscuring product names.
3. Not enclose cash, negotiable securities, promotional materials or undeclared items inside parcels.
4. Not engage in fake orders, false ordering, malicious disputes or forging evidence to obtain improper compensation.
5. Not access, scrape or interfere with platform systems through crawlers, automated scripts or reverse engineering without authorisation.
By using this service you acknowledge and accept that:
1. Orbuy does not guarantee the quality, functionality, durability or subjective expectations of goods supplied by third-party vendors; where a quality defect arises, we provide an official channel to assist your negotiation with the vendor.
2. Flight adjustments, capacity constraints and local delivery pressure may cause transit-time variation; the estimated delivery time shown is for reference only and is not a delivery commitment.
3. Customs authorities have the legal right to inspect, levy duties on, detain or return parcels; duties and import fees are borne by the recipient. Orbuy cannot intervene in customs enforcement and cannot guarantee customs clearance.
4. Risks arising from incorrect recipient information, unclaimed delivery, recipient refusal or force majeure are borne by the user.
Shipment protection is provided by third-party underwriters through a registration service facilitated by Orbuy. Orbuy does not act as an insurer and holds no claim-decision authority. Coverage scope and exclusions are governed by the Shipment Protection Rules and the underwriter's formal policy. See the Shipment Protection page for details.
We collect, store, use, transmit and protect personal data in compliance with applicable data-protection legislation. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. We will not use your personal information for purposes unrelated to fulfilment without your consent.
Material revisions that meaningfully affect user rights will be published at least 15 days in advance on our official announcements page. Your continued use of the service after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will never quietly modify critical clauses in hidden corners of our site.
If you have questions or disputes, please submit a support ticket through Orbuy official channels. We will investigate and mediate following standard service procedures. If mediation does not reach an agreement, both parties agree that disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts where Orbuy operates.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
